Hi everyone, I am going to throw this out there into the great unknown and hope and pray someone will respond with a great offer. I am looking for a work at home job I can do and still watch my grandson so my daughter can work also or we can both do at home so we can tag team with Jacob. I need this so badly, as they are cutting hours at work and also the new manager is causing all sorts of drama and heartache for me there that I dont want to stay. Is there anyone out there that is working from home and would like to share with me their success story? I would love any ideas or opportunities(that are legal and dont involve telemarketing..lol) Please help this grammie out by sending by anyone you know who is making money at home now. Good Morning everyone! It is Monday again. I have a meeting today at work at 12:45 for an hour then in to actual work at 3 today. In between I have to get my check and put it in the bank to cover some checks I wrote this weekend..lol…chase the check…I know, I know, not a good idea, but in this economy, you do what you have to do. At any rate, I was surfing the web this weekend and came across a lovely site for recipies and signed up for any updates. I got my first recipie this morning and thought I would share it with you.
Cake Mix Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 white cake mix
1 cube butter or margarine
1 egg
1/4 c water
1/2 c oats
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 c chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Bake at 350 for about 8-12 minutes. These are super yummy and soft and full of deliciousness.

I saw this project in a magazine somewhere and knew I could use things I already had in the house so I commenced to gather the supplies that you see below. Household scissors, tacky glue, construction paper, magnetic strip and three different size circles. I used whatever was available for those, which were a Nichol, contact lens case and a button pin that was a little larger.
These are a few pieces. Can you guess what it is?——- You’re right!
I made my own pattern and guessed at the size I wanted it to be. You could make it smaller or larger. It would, of course, work best on a white frig. and one that has a visible side. I have seen it done on the front, though. The kids or grand kids in the house will love it.
I changed the mittens to blue after I took the first picture. Which do you like best?

Good Morning everyone! I hope today greets you with a big happy heart today! I got into bed really early last night and so got up before the roosters this morning! I have fresh hot coffee in hand and have started saving Christmas music to my laptop. I have taken the time on vacation to put up all my Christmas decorations and tree and the house looks so beautiful and festive! Pete got me an early Christmas present of a fireplace for my family room. I love it! It is so beautiful and adds such a warm and coziness to the whole house! Here is a pic of it:
It isnt a really good one, but it gives you an idea..lol. Well, I have alot of things to get done today, so I will get off of here for a bit…I will try to post some great Thanksgiving recipies I found tonight once I get to work! Have a great day!

Hello everyone! Tomorrow is voting day! Are you ready to cast your ballott? Do you know who you will choose? I read tonight that Barrack Obama’s grandmother passed today, so I wonder how he will handle that with the election. I am worried about all the news and comments I hear about him having muslim ties and ties with known terrorist groups. Can we trust this man? I am undecided about this…I do not know if I trust him. I do know that Mcain is not the man to have in office though. Not enough of a change will take place for the better. These are scary times folks…hold on to you hats..I think a strange and frightening wind is about to blow!
Now, in other news, I think my house guests are getting real close to getting a house of their own. I am sure they will be just as glad to be out as we will be to have our home back to normal. It has been really tough having an extra 5 people living under our roof. My oh my will I think long and hard before I do this again..lol.
I was wondering, does anyone know where I could get some cute wordpress themes for thanksgiving and winter themed? I have been scouring the net to no avail. I have one from nickel and dime graphics that I will use for a bit at christmas, but was really wanting one for winter. I am hoping to find some linkware themes if possible….please please please…lol.
